A New Jersey Botanical Garden Proposal

How they met and about their first date
Joshua and Jasmin met on a Christian dating app and have been together over 1 year. They have been long distance since the beginning, Joshua lives in Rhode Island and Jasmin in New Jersey. Their first date was in NJ where they walked and talked together nonstop and from there it was history!
How incredible is it that Jasmin and Joshua have done long distance?! I can imagine how tough that was, but so much to look forward to!

What they love to do
They love to travel together. Their favorite place is in Pennsylvania where they went to the best vegan food!

Why Jasmin is so special to Joshua
“Her amazing personality and I see Jesus Christ in her, which is how I fell in love with her”
Dan and I could see the beauty of Christ shinning through Jasmin right when we met her.

Why Joshua choose this place to propose

The best thing about this is that it was the first song Jasmin and Joshua danced to under the starts in Pennsylvania on one of their perfect dates!

That moment Joshua knew Jasmin was special:
“I really love her because she is funny, lovable, and beautiful. I love her laugh when we dance together, going on fun adventures and the best moment was the first time she asked me to kiss her.”
I’m just in awe of the love Joshua has for her! It is beyond sweet.

About the Proposal
Joshua contacted me a few months before as he was preparing to ask Jasmin, as he knew she was the one! Despite being deaf, we were able to communicate online and it worked perfect. He wanted to choose New Jersey Botanical Garden because they loved that place while dating. That location has so many beautiful spots to choose from.

On the day of, it was raining but the forecast said it would stop at 3PM. My husband Dan and I were praying the weather would hold out and thankfully it did. Yes it did rain a bit but it was very light and to be honest it made it even more romantic. The garden area is huge, so I was nervous we wouldn’t find the location but thankfully we did! Joshua brought a puzzle for Jasmin to put together and then got on his knee and signed his proposal to her. Dan and I were emotional too just watching, see all the sweet moments below:

With this beautiful couple and location, of course we had to take some photos after the proposal. There were so many that we loved, but our favorite ones were where they signed to each other and the one where Joshua celebrated that Jasmin said yes!!
